These are programs that have been developed to assist all individuals and families from all faiths in their journey through the grieving process. This process is based on the self- help format, where a facilitator leads the group in sharing of their pain and loss. They are also educated through personal experience, latest information from books, periodicals and articles and encourage them to also read and educate themselves that grief is definitely an individual process, that we all must pass through, that life has changed but not ended and with the support of God’s love, grace and the groups help, they will survive. It is a nondenominational and spiritually based group, sponsored by St. Theresa of Lisieux Parish and is open to all.
All Bereavement Support Groups meet in Room #6 of the Parish Center located behind St. Theresa of Lisieux Church, Boston Road, Billerica, Massachusetts.
GENERAL BEREAVEMENT
